Two parliamentarians have been removed from Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM)’s Viber group.
The two lawmakers are Thulhaadhoo MP Nazim Rashad and Guraidhoo MP Hussain Manik.
MP Manik told RaajjeMV that they were kicked from PPM’s parliamentary Viber group a month ago.
MP Rashad was a member of main opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) before joining PPM in 2014.
Many lawmakers have left PPM during President Abdulla Yameen’s administration while central Fuvahmulah MP Ali Fazad was dismissed from the party in September.
