The Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure has on Wednesday made an announcement seeking to hire a tow vehicle to be used to transport vehicles, in case of emergency on Sinamale’ Bridge.

An announcement by the ministry on Wednesday requests interested individuals to submit their bids to the ministry before 9am on October 1.

It added details of the required tow vehicle will be revealed through the ministry’s front desk from 20th to the 30th of September from 8am to 2pm.

Sinamale’ Bridge, more commonly known as China-Maldives Friendship Bridge was officially inaugurated on the 30th of August at a special ceremony joined by a delegate from the Chinese President, Xi Jinping. However, it was opened to the general public on the 07th of September.
