Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, the opposition coalition’s presidential candidate, and his running mate Faisal Naseem is to travel to Addu and Fuvahmulah cities on their last campaign trip.
They are scheduled to arrive in Fuvahmulah, Faisal’s native island, on Wednesday at 6pm to hold a campaign event later that night at the stadium.
Fuvahmulah has a population of 13,000, out of which 5,726 are eligible to vote in the elections. A total of 10 ballot boxes are to be placed for the presidential polls on Sunday.
RaajjeMV understands that Solih and Faisal will head to Addu City’s Hulhumeedhoo on Thursday morning and travel to Hithadhoo later that night to hold a large campaign event in the island’s harbor.
Solih and Faisal have traveled to 187 islands since beginning their campaign. Their first campaign trip was also to Addu and Fuvahmulah.
