Air India flight accidentally lands on the main airport\'s new runway

A plane has accidentally landed on Velana International Airport’s newly developed runway.

Air India AI 263 flight from Trivandrum landed at 3:20pm on Friday.

Photos of the Airbus 320’s landing is now circulating on social media.

The extent of the damage is now known, but photos show that the plane’s landing gear has been covered with fire and rescue vehicles nearby.

RaajjeMV has been unable to get a word from the airport company regarding the incident.
