124 cases were registered at Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in its second quarters this year.
According to ACC statistics, 404 cases were registered in the first six months of 2018 and 124 of the cases were registered in the second quarter.
The second quarter of 2017 saw 152 registered cases.
After evaluation, ACC approved 110 cases for investigation in the second quarter of 2018, while the commission approved 99 cases for investigation in the second quarter of 2017.
ACC sends cases that do not fit its mandate to the relevant institutions and eight such cases were sent in the second quarter of 2018 while six were sent in the second quarter of 2017.
ACC rejected 16 cases in the second quarter of 2018 and 26 cases in the second quarter of 2017 due to lack of information.
