Police search for missing 15-yo bullying victim
Police attained knowledge of her disappearance during their investigation into a video that surfaced on social media

The Maldives Police Service has begun searching for Nashfa Hassan, a 15-year-old missing girl and a reported victim of bullying.
Nashfa, resident to Thinadhoo island of Gaaf Dhaal atoll, has been missing since August 19th, her family told the police.
Police attained knowledge of her disappearance during their investigation into a video that surfaced on social media, showing Nashfa being assaulted by a number of others.
The video, reportedly taken about a week ago, shows about three other girls verbally abusing Nashfa and assaulting her – smacking her across the cheek no less than six times.
The family continued their search for Nashfa without reporting it to the police. The police have asked anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact them.
