Joint Opposition candidate Solih meets with Alifushi businessmen
A number of businessmen in R. Alifushi have given their support to Joint Opposition presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
The businessmen confirmed their support to Solih at an opposition campaign event in Alifushi on Thursday.
The businessmen are also supporters of former President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, an opposition leader who is now serving time in prison.
Maumoon has many supporters in Alifushi and many members of the ruling party have shown their approval of his reform movement.
