Opposition coalition’s vice-presidential candidate is to partake in a special gathering to be hosted in his native island Fuvahmulah, on Tuesday night.
The special gathering is to be held in Funadu districts of the island and residents and supporters of the Maldives Joint Opposition coalition as well as frontrunners of the opposition campaign activities, of eight districts are to partake in the event in which Naseem will also be partaking.
While the opposition vice-presidential candidate is on a two-day trip to his native island, several residents had assembled outside the Fuvahmulah airport to meet and greet with him on Monday. Upon Naseem’s arrival, the campaign site was crammed with residents who desired to greet him, and it is notable that along entire way from the airport to the campaign site, applause from supporters had not faded out.
