29-yo injured in third stabbing in Hulhumalé since Thursday

A young man has been stabbed in capital city Male’s suburban extension Hulhumalé for a third consecutive day.
Speaking to RaajjeMV, media official of the Aasandha Company which runs Hulhumalé Hospital, Aashiya Solih confirmed that a 29-year-old male had been stabbed on Saturday as well, and that he was brought to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment this evening at around 4:30pm.
While the young man was stabbed five times in the back, an X-ray has been taken and he is now receiving treatment.
This is the third such attack in Hulhumalé since Thursday; a youth was stabbed in Hulhumalé on Thursday night while a 24-year-old was stabbed seven times on Friday.
While Hulhumalé is experiencing a wave of gang violence for the past few days, police are yet to make any arrests in the cases reported thus far. However, they maintain that the cases are being investigated.
