Naseem requested all residents to vote for the opposition coalition in order to ensure equal development for all

Opposition coalition’s presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that residents of Fuvahmulak city are ready to stand up against corruption, theft and aggression.

Speaking after meeting and greeting with residents of Fuvahmulak city on Saturday evening in his first trip to the city, Solih said that residents of Fuvahmulah are ready to stand up against corruption, theft and hostility.

“Today we are observing the citizens are with us, calling to maintain and deliver justice” said Solih.

The long-standing parliamentarian said that the prime desire of most of the residents he met in Fuvahmulah is to make the country one that maintains and delivers justice.

Member of Parliament for Kaashidhoo constituency and Solih’s running mate Faisal Naseem, native to Fuvahmulah, said that what is observed from the city today, is that 80% of it is thirsty for reform and a positive change.

“None of my native residents need to clarify what they want, with me. I know what my people want” said Naseem.

The MP further said that a government administered by the opposition will ensure in bringing equal development across the country.

Naseem requested all residents to vote for the opposition coalition in order to bring a coalition government that the citizens want, one that will bring about equal development for all.

Both Solih and Naseem were given a warm welcome as they arrived in Fuvahmulah City on Saturday evening, with residents of all ages lining up to greet them near the harbour.
