Opposition candidate Solih receives huge welcome in Addu

Opposition candidate Solih being greeted by Addu City residents
The Joint Opposition’s presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has received an enthusiastic welcome from Addu City residents upon his arrival on Friday evening.
This is the first campaign trip of Solih and his team after being elected by Maldivian Democratic party (MDP) as the candidate of the opposition coalition parties.
Over 700 people waited at the Gan airport to receive Solih, who is set to meet his regional campaign teams in Hithadhoo.
He will also conduct a door-to-door campaign in Feydhoo, Hulhudhoo, and Meedhoo.
Solih will travel to Fuvahmulah City on Saturday afternoon and hold meetings with his regional team and conduct a door-to-door campaign there as well.
After his Fuvahmulah visit, Solih will return to Addu and visit homes in Maradhoo and Hithadhoo.
