Didi appointed for a second time as state minister at Ministry of Islamic Affairs

President Abdulla Yameen has appointed Mohamed Didi as a state minister at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for a second time on Thursday.

Didi was appointed as state minister at a special ceremony held on Thursday morning. He previously resigned from the post of state minister at the Islamic Ministry when the party he then represented, Adhaalath Party had withdrawn from the ruling Progressive Party of the Maldives (PPM) coalition.

However, he had signed onto the ruling party later on in the previous May.
