Maldives Islamic Bank\'s ATM at Velana International Airport
Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has launched an ATM at Velana International Airport.
The ATM was launched by Maldives Airports Company Limited's (MACL) Managing Director Adil Moosa and MIB's Acting Chief Executive Officer Ahmed Riyaz.
Ahmed Riyaz has said that the purpose of launching the ATM is to provide MIB's services to the public more conveniently and added that MVR 20.000 can be withdrawn daily.
The ATM is not too far from the domestic terminal in Hulhule'.
Furthermore, MIB launched a mobile application under the name F'isa Mobile on 8th May.
The application allows you to check account balance, transaction history, details of financing facilities and checkbook details. Additionally, money can be transferred between MIB accounts and accounts from other banks.
Maldives Islamic Bank started providing services in March 2011.
