Newly appointed judges take their oaths of office

Four newly appointed judges to the Civil Court and Criminal Court each, have taken their oaths of office.

Hafiza Abdul Sattar native to Gaaf Dhaal atoll Faresmaathodhaa and Hussain Faiz native to Thinadhoo of the same atoll were sworn in as Civil Court judgess while Gaaf Alif Judicial Chief Magistrate Hassan Najeeb native to Gaaf Alif Villigili and Ismail Rasheed native to Vaavu atoll Felidhoo were sworn in as Criminal Court judges in a ceremony held at the Supreme Court on Monday night, 

The four new judges were sworn in by High Court Judge, Abdul Ghani Mohamed.

Supreme Court Justice Adam Mohamed Abdulla had handed letters of appointment to the four.

The Judicial Service Commission had decided to appoint the four judges to their positions on the 25th of April.
