Maldives lavish resort Anantara Kihavah Maldives has been named the world's most Instagrammable hotel.

The Luxury Travel Advisor was voted by over 120,000 votes with Anantara taking approximately half of those.

The 80-villa resort located in Baa atoll won the title after beating Ritz-Carlton hotel in Mandapa of Bali, Indonesia, Hotel Matilda and Viceroy Los Cabos both in Mexico,

General Manager at the lavish resort, Dylan Counsel had expressed his gratitude to Luxury Travel Advisor for "recognizing the unparalleled beauty of the island."

This is not the first time the resort has been honoured such a title. Back in 2017, Anantara had won the "world's leading underwater hotel restaurant" title in the World Travel Awards as well as the "leading villa resort" title in the Maldives.

Anantara is situated within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and is a 30-minute seaplane flight from capital city Male' and Velana International Airport.

Nightly beach pool villa rates at Anantara start from USD 1,128 while their over water pool villa's start from USD 1,500, and a family beach pool with bed and breakfast starts from USD 3,000.
