Kurendhoo, Dhangethi island residents bring gifts to RaajjeTV staff

Residents of Lh Kurendhoo and ADh Dhangethi have brought ceremonial foods as a gift to RaajjeTV’s staff.

Residents of the two islands brought the gifts on Saturday morning.

A Kurendhoo local said they prepared the ceremonial food in appreciation of RaajjeTV’s reporting.

The Dhangethi residents said that everyone in the island joined in its preparation and have noted that RaajjeTV staff remains steadfast in their work to keep the people informed, despite the threats against the station.

RaajjeTV’s news director Husham Mohamed said that the support of viewers motivates journalists to keep serving the public.

RaajjeTV received similar gifts earlier from residents of various other islands, including F Magoodhoo, AA Rasdhoo, and Th Kinbidhoo. RaajjeTV has also been receiving other forms of support from island residents during this time of political turmoil in the country.
