International coffeehouse company Costa Coffee is set to establish an outlet at Velana International Airport.

The Costa Coffee outlet will be placed at the Waterfront restaurant with popular restaurant chains KFC, Pizza Hut, and Harvest Market.

HMSHost International has signed an agreement with Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) to run Waterfront Restaurant.

The deal was signed on Monday at the airport’s VIP lounge by MACL Managing Director Adil Moosa and HMSHost Chief Executive Officer Walter Sieb.

Managing Director Moosa said Waterfront Restaurant is set to open within three months, and that they are working on bringing more international brands.
