Port Clinic to be opened soon: Junaid

CEO of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) Mohamed Junaid has said that discussions are underway to open a port clinic at Male’ North Harbor.

Speaking to Raajje MV, Junaid said that it is vital to provide clinical services at the MPL area, especially for the stevedores working at the port area. Junaid said that the service is necessary for the stevedores, persons employed to load and unload ships, to provide first aid while getting injured at work.

Junaid said, once permitted by the authorities, a port clinic would be opened soon to give an ease in providing first aid to the employees.
