Judge Ahmed Rasheed: cycle torched in attack that came after slashed security | Vnews
The motorcycle owned by Criminal Court Judge Ahmed Rasheed has been torched.
The arson attack was carried out on Sunday night in Hulhumale’. The cycle had been burnt beyond use.
Maldives Police Service (MPS) had confirmed that a cycle in Hulhumale’ was torched just after midnight on Sunday and that the case was under investigation.
The attack came amid slashed security for the Judge. Judge Ahmed Rasheed has been under suspension from August 23rd onward. Security was slashed for him and Judge Abdul Baaree Yoosuf in September.
MPS had denied to reveal information as they were under VIP security services.
