President Yameen at the Arab Islamic American Summit: the President is to visit UAE later this week
RaajjeMV understands that President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Gayoom is to travel to United Arab Emirates on October 17th.
He is expected to travel to Dubai.
When contacted by RaajjeMV President’s Office Spokesperson Ibrahim Muaz Ali said the President had some planned trips ahead but offered no details.
It is not known if this an official visit or an unofficial visit.
UAE had followed suit, when Saudi Arabia severed diplomatic ties with Qatar earlier this year.
