Two others injured in the accident have been treated at the hospital in Thinadhoo

One of three individuals injured in an accident in Thinadhoo island of Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll on Sunday night has been brought to the capital for a surgery.

While a total of four people were involved in the accident near a cellular antenna operated by Ooredoo Maldives, with a motorycle colliding into the another as it turned, three had sustained serious injuries. 

The 26-year-old woman was brought to Malé on Monday night and is being prepared for a back surgery at the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

Two others injured in the accident have been treated at the hospital in Thinadhoo. They are in stable condition, the hospital said.
