Previous Government Had Completed Hope Island Model: Faisal
Former Vice President Faisal Naseem has stated that the government's proposed "Hope Island" project is a comprehensive model originally designed by the previous administration in L. Kalaidhoo to rehabilitate and reintegrate at-risk youth into society. Expressing concern over the project's delay, Naseem highlighted that the initiative was intended to address various social issues and provide vocational training to empower youth with sustainable income-generating skills. Despite the current administration's pledge to launch the project last January, the lack of practical progress has drawn increasing public criticism.
