UWC Maldives awards scholarship opportunities to four Maldivian students
Four Maldivian students selected by UWC Maldives this year will pursue their higher secondary education at United World Colleges in the United States, Japan, Armenia, and Eswatini. Supported by the Ali Fulhu Thuttu Foundation, the students will complete a two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, a qualification equivalent to A-levels.

UWC Maldives has provided four Maldivian students with the opportunity to pursue their higher secondary education abroad.
The scholarship recipients are set to pursue their studies at United World Colleges (UWC) located in the United States, Japan, Armenia, and Eswatini.
The four students who secured this opportunity are Fathimath Sasha Faruhath from Ghaazee School, Fathimath Faariha Fayaz and Jian Ahmed Saeed from Aminiya School, and Aminath Ula Ahmed from Finland International School.
Fathimath Sasha Faruhath is set to pursue her studies at UWC ISAK Japan, while Fathimath Fariha Fayaz has been placed at UWC Dilijan in Armenia. Jian Ahmed Saeed will be attending UWC Waterford Kamhlaba in Eswatini, and Aminath Ula Ahmed is scheduled to study at UWC-USA in the United States.
UWC Maldives is a distinguished educational institution recognized for its international excellence. With fifteen such colleges established worldwide, students complete a two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program. This qualification is equivalent to A-Levels and is widely accepted by universities globally, as well as by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA).
UWC Maldives is the national committee representing United World Colleges (UWC) in the Maldives. The organization's scholarship program is conducted with the generous support of the Alifulhu Thuttu Foundation and the UWC International organization. This opportunity is opened annually, specifically targeting Maldivian students who have completed Grade 10.
