Deadly fire in ADh. Dhigurah claims five lives Thursday night

Dhigurah, and have since been transported to Male' for emergency medical treatment. While authorities have yet to officially confirm the cause of the fire, it is suspected to have been triggered by a gas leak.

Five people have been killed in a devastating fire that broke out in ADh. Dhigurah on Thursday night.
The incident occurred in a migrant worker accommodation block, and it has been reported that all the victims of the tragedy were foreign nationals.
Reports indicate that three individuals sustained severe burn injuries in a dangerous incident that occurred during the early hours of Friday.
Those who sustained serious injuries have been transported to Male' for further medical treatment.
Footage circulating on social media shows flames visible from the upper floors of the building.
While authorities have yet to officially disclose the cause of the incident, a local resident stated that the fire is suspected to have been triggered by a gas leak.
