Authorities set designated hours for heavy vehicle movement and goods transport in the Greater Male' Area during Ramadan

The authorities have established specific hours for the transportation of goods within the Greater Male' area during the month of Ramadan.
From the 1st to the 19th of Ramadan, and from the 1st to the 7th of Shawwal, the transport of goods will be prohibited between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Furthermore, the operation of heavy vehicles has been prohibited between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., effective from the 20th of Ramadan until the end of the month.
The Ministry of Transport has stated that individuals who violate these regulations will be subject to a fine of MVR 750.
