The globally recognized coffeehouse chain The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has officially opened its first café in the Maldives, bringing its signature brews and premium beverages to the shores of Hulhumalé.

The new outlet, located at Lot 10376 on Hirundhu Magu, sits along the picturesque beachfront of Hulhumalé Phase I, offering guests a scenic and relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the brand’s renowned coffees, teas, and culinary offerings.

The franchise’s entry into the Maldivian market is made possible through a partnership with Waterscape Investment Private Limited, a locally operated investment company. This collaboration marks an important milestone for both the international brand and the local business landscape.

Speaking at the launching event, Pepot Miñana, Chief Executive Officer of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. Miñana said that their collaboration with Waterscape Investments is a significant step in the company’s global journey, and expressed confidence that together, they can create a space that Maldivians will cherish, a place where every beverage reflects the company’s decades of expertise.

The café will serve a variety of premium beverages crafted with ingredients sourced from top-tier producers around the world. Signature drinks include ice-blended beverages, a specialty of the brand, alongside a range of coffees and teas that have become global favorites.

In addition to its drink menu, the café will offer a selection of fresh pastries, sandwiches, cakes, and brownies, creating a comprehensive experience for both casual coffee drinkers and dedicated enthusiasts.
