As part of the Bank of Maldives (BML)’s ongoing investment programme to support local communities by expanding banking services across the country, BML has inaugurated a Self-Service Banking ATM center in Dhangethi island of Alif Dhaal atoll.

The country’s national bank revealed that the new ATM center will provide cash deposit, money transferring and cash withdrawal services to the individuals and businesses in the island.

The center will be operational on a round-the-clock basis.

The company’s Managing Director and CEO, Tim Sawyer revealed that the bank currently has ATM centers established in four islands of Alif Dhaal atoll, with the most recent one having opened.

We are delighted to expand our Self-Service Banking with an additional ATM in Dhangethi. The Bank now has ATM centers in four islands of Alif Dhaal atoll Dhangethi, Dhigurah, Mahibadhoo and Maamigilli to provide easy access basic banking services.”

Recently, the country’s national bank also upgraded its Self-Service Banking ATM center, located in the new premises of the Mahibadhoo branch in the same atoll.

The bank affirmed its commitment to continue supporting individuals, businesses and communities across Maldives and boasts a nationwide network of 35 branches across all 20 atolls, 74 Self-Service banking centers, 135 ATMs, over 200 agents and a full suite of Digital Banking services
