Dhiraagu to sponsor Maldives' largest coffee event
The event is to be held on the 07th of September

Telecommunications giant Dhiraagu is to sponsor a coffee event in collaboration with Coffee Lab Roasters this September.
“The ring for coffee lovers” organized by “Dhiraagu Maldives Aeropress Championship (MAC) 2018” is scheduled to be held at Rasrani Bageechaa on the 07th of September 2018.
While this is the largest and first public coffee event to be held in the country, the event is to provide stations featuring popular local specialty coffee bars providing tasting sessions for their espresso, manual brew, signature beverages and coffees.
World Aeropress Championship, held annually since its establishment in 2010, is a well celebrated event across the globe. It is held in a different country each year with more than 50 champions from around the world set to participate in this year’s event which is scheduled to be held in Sydney, Australia. The winner of the Maldives Aeropress Championship will win the change to travel to Australia to partake in the World Aeropress Championship.
Before the event commences, a public workshop will be held in Family Room located in capital city Male’s suburban extension Hulhumale’ on the 19th of July and the 16th of August with a follow-up third workshop to proceed in Dhiraagu Premier Lounge located in Male’, on the 30th of August.
