Pres. Muizzu meets AA. Maalhos council, members highlight stalled projects

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu sits down for talks with members of the Maalhos island council and WDC
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with the island councilors in Maalhos island of Alif Alif atoll, Women's Development Committee (WDC), as well as senior officials from some of the island's institutions. During the meeting, the council members highlighted concerns regarding stalled projects on the island.
The meeting took place at the Maalhos Council Office on Tuesday.
During the meeting, council members emphasized the need to swiftly commence the halted school project and football ground work, and to find solutions to the current challenges faced by the Health Center building.
The council also shared the challenges in developing local tourism on the island and highlighted areas where government assistance is needed.
In his remarks during the meeting, the president stated that he would work towards finding solutions to the issues raised by the council members.
