DSC clinches National League title, adding to VAM Cup victory
While DSC secured first place in the National League, Dhadimagu came in second. HDC took third place, while Huraa came in fourth. The next competition among the top four teams will be the National Tournament.
National Volleyball League champions DSC
Despite losing to Club HDC in the final match of the National Volleyball League, the Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) has secured the league championship.
In the match played on Wednesday night at the indoor court of the Youth Center, DSC won in straight three sets. DSC won the sets with scores of 25-22, 25-22, and 26-25.
Even before entering the final match of the league, DSC had already secured the championship in first place. This was due to Huraa Community Club losing their match against Dhadimagu Sports and Recreation. In the game, Dhadimagu had won three sets to one against Hura.
HDC won the championship of last year's National Volleyball League. HDC won the National League title after a year by defeating DSC in the final match.
Before that, in 2023, DSC had won the National Volleyball League championship. DSC has won the National League after a one-year break.
