DSC crowned champions of 18/30 Futsal Fiesta
This is the third time the team has won championship
DSC Players celebrating after being claimed champions
Dhivehi Sifainge Club (DSC) has been crowned the champion team of the women’s division of the Club Maldives Cup, the 18/30 Futsal Fiesta.
The team won the match after beating the defending champions MPL with a score of 10 – 2.
Fathimath Theeba took the lead for the team by scoring two goals for DSC. She was crowned Fair Play.
She scored a hattrick in the exciting game.
DSC’s Sabeena scored a fourth goal for the team and was crowned the best player of the match. She as also the player who scored the most goals in the tournament.
The winning team’s other goals were scored by Captain Aminath Zahiya, Mariyam Rifaa and Sumaiyya.
Two of MPL’s goals were scored by the team’s goalie, her first score being through a penalty.
The Woman of the Match was awarded to DSC’s Sumaiyya.
WAMCO’s team won the Fair Play team with the best five players being Sabeena, Sumaiyya, Saaiga, Saaliya and Nathamone Athuluka.
