Voters have on Saturday begun casting ballots in the bi-elections for Kamadhoo island’s council.
Voting began at around 8:00 on the island, in Baa atoll, and at 8:20 for its residents in Malé City.

Two candidates are competing for the island's local council seats; Ahmed Saajid from the Maldivian Democratic Party and Ali Naail from the Progressive Party of Maldives.
