BML announces international money transfer promo

Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced a new promotion for International Money Transfers.
The country’s national bank revealed this via a statement publicized on Monday.
The promotion allows customers to send money overseas via BML Mobile Banking App to bank accounts, cash agents or to digital wallets with International Money transfer using their USD account or USD prepaid card.
As part of the promotion, five customers stand a chance to win a gift card of MVR 5,000 every week, during the promotion period.
Customers who are eligible to participate in the promotion are those who make overseas transfers over USD 100 via International Money Transfer services during the promotion period.
The promotion is valid through 7 September 2024.
Terms and conditions for the offer have been publicized by the bank as well.
Some of them include prohibiting BML’s employees and their immediate family members from being participating in the promotion.
BML revealed that lucky draws will be taken every week among eligible customers who successfully complete transactions via International Money Transfer and added that one winner will be drawn every week.
Details of the winner will be publicized on BML’s website and the winner will receive a call from 3330200 to be informed that they have won the lucky draw. However, if the bank is unable to contact them within two days, the initial draw will be nullified and a new winner will be selected.
