Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a case of gang violence.

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that the case of gang violence surfaced in the capital, Malé City.

The media official at MPS revealed that the gang violence occurred near Dharubaaruge in Henveiru-ward of the capital.

Police received reports of the incident at around 10:30pm on Saturday.

The victim was rushed to Senahiya Hospital where he was treated for injuries.

Police cited doctors at Senahiya having revealed that the victim did not attain any serious injuries.

MPS is currently conducting the required probes in connection with the case.
