President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has attended the official banquet hosted by President of India Droupadi Murmu.
The banquet was hosted in honor of the leaders of neighboring countries attending the swearing-in-ceremony of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Sunday.
The official banquet followed the swearing-in ceremony of PM Modi and the Council of Ministers of the government of India, which took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi on Sunday.
PM Modi held a joint interaction with all heads of state and government.
The Maldivian leader was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer and Minister of Finance Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq.
Muizzu departed to New Delhi on Saturday, to attend the ceremony, on Modi’s invitation.
