President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has expressed keenness to work towards the advancement of shared interests between the governments of Maldives and India.
He said this in a congratulatory message posted on social media platform ‘X’ late Tuesday, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s victory in the Indian General Elections.
In his message, the Maldivian leader offered his congratulations to PM Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for their victory in the Indian General Elections of 2024.
Shedding light on BJP's win for the third consecutive term, the Maldivian president expressed keen interest to continue working together to advance the shared interests of both countries.
Further, he expressed hope to continue collaborating to enhance the shared objectives of the two countries, in the pursuit of development and stability.
