Aisha Nurain Janah has resigned from her post as the chairperson of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) revealed that they received her resignation letter on 21 May 2024.

PCB has confirmed that they have accepted her resignation and terminated her from the position.

Aisha Nurain Janah, daughter of Trade and Investment Advisor to President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, Mohamed Janah Ali, was appointed to the post of chairperson of MMPRC, a company established to promote tourism across the Maldives, in December 2023.

Nurain was residing in New Zealand at the time of her appointment.
