President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has offered condolences following the passing of Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan.
In a post on social media platform ‘X’ on Thursday morning, President Muizzu extended his deepest condolences and most sincere sympathies to President of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the bereaved family as well as the people of UAE, on behalf of the people and government of Maldives, following the passing of the Ruler's Representative in Al-Ain region Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohamed Al Nahyan.
The Maldivian leader expressed hope to observe the late Sheikh’s legacy of leadership and wisdom continuing to inspire UAE and the rest of the world.
Offering his heartfelt sympathies during this time of grief, President Muizzu wished them strength in bearing the loss.
Further, he expressed hope that the joyous memories of the late Sheikh would bring comfort and solace to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the royal family during this difficult time.
Expressing hope that the UAE will undoubtedly remember Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s legacy, leadership, compassion, and service, the president offered a prayer, seeking the almighty Allah to accept the late Sheikh’s good deeds and for him to be granted the highest ranks in Jannah.
