SIMDI Group has announced the winner of the grand cash prize promised to one lucky winner as part of the ‘SIMDI Ramadan Promotion 2024’.
In a press release issued on April 20, SIMDI Group announced the recipient of the grand prize for the highly-anticipated Ramadan promotion, after weeks of excitement and anticipation.
The lucky winner entitled to the prestigious MVR 100,000 cash prize was selected by Managing Director of SIMDI Group, Mishal Ibrahim Mohamed Didi at the head office of the company, on April 14.
The grand prize was conferred to the recipient at a special ceremony held on Saturday, by SIMDI Group’s General Manager, Yooshau Saeed.
The recipient of the prestigious grand cash prize was Ahmed Alvin Mohamed Abbas.

The company revealed that their Ramadan promotion captured the spirit of the season by offering participants the chance to win exciting rewards.
The promotion caught widespread attention and engagement from the public, with thousands of entries from across the Greater Malé Region as well as online participants.
SIMDI revealed that their Ramadan promotion carried the purpose of spreading joy and prosperity during the fasting month and that the announcement of the grand prize winner marks the conclusion of a successful campaign.
SIMDI extended its heartfelt appreciation to all participants for their enthusiastic input and support.
SIMDI Group announced their Ramadan promotion in February this year.
As part of the promotion, four weekly lucky draws were taken and a grand lucky draw was held to include all the customers that participated in the promotion, within the promotion period.
The promotion proceeded from February 13 to April 13 and customers participated to win prizes by purchasing products for a minimum of MVR 500 from any SIMDI outlet in the Greater Malé Region, or through the SIMDI Online App. Each purchase of MVR 500 and above, counted as an entry.
In addition to this, the company also introduced gift packs for the fasting month of Ramadan.
Customers were able to gift their loved ones with a special SIMDI ‘Roadha Hadhiya’ gift pack by going to the ‘Roadha Hadhiya’ section of the online app, choosing the package of their choice, entering the delivery address, entering a special message if they wish to and proceeding to make the payment.
