SIMDI Ramadan Promo 2024: winners of second, third week’s lucky draws announced

SIMDI Group has announced the winners of its second and third week’s lucky draw, as part of the ‘SIMDI Ramadan Promotion 2024’.

In a press release issued on March 26, SIMDI Group revealed that the second week’s lucky draw winners were selected at their head office on March 24.

The prizes promised to the weekly winners were handed over at SIMDI Group's Resu Showroom on March 26.

The second week’s lucky draw winners were Ahmed Riyaz, Ahmed Laizam and Mohamed Shifaz.

As the first prize winner, Ahmed Riyaz won a Canon DSLR Camera.

The second-prize winner, Laizam was presented with an Electrolux home appliance kitchen bundle including an oven, a gas hob, a rice cooker and a pullout hood.

A Monin brand bundle including syrups, sauces, frappes, purees, a recipe book and a blender from Electrolux was gifted to Shifaz as the third prize winner.

In a press release issued on April 1, SIMDI Group revealed that the third week’s lucky draw winners were selected at their head office on March 31.

The prizes promised to the weekly winners were handed over at SIMDI Tech Showroom on April 1.

The third week’s lucky draw winners were Zainab Shareef Ahmed, High Tide Restaurant & Lounge and Nimsa Hajj and Umrah Group.

Zainab won an Electrolux home appliance cleaning bundle featuring a stick vacuum and hand vacuum as the first prize winner.

High Tide Restaurant & Lounge was presented with a Canon GX 6070 Ink JET printer as the second prize winner.

A Dilmah brand tea bundle featuring different flavors of loose-leaf tea, tea bags, gift packs and sachets were gifted to Nimsa Hajj and Umrah Group as the third prize winner.

SIMDI Group announced their Ramadan promotion in February this year.

As part of the promotion, four weekly lucky draws will be taken and a grand lucky draw will be held to include all the customers that participate in the promotion, within the promotion period.

The promotion is proceeding from February 13 to April 13 and customers may participate to win prizes by purchasing products for a minimum of MVR 500 from any SIMDI outlet in the Greater Malé Region, or through the SIMDI Onlineapp. Each purchase of MVR 500 and above, will count as an entry.

Customers may download the SIMDI Onlineappon Google Play Store or Apple's App Store.

The app features SIMDI Group’s entire portfolio of more than 200 brands as well as over 15,000 products and services.

The lucky draw for the fourth week will be held on April 7 and customers that purchased from any SIMDI outlet in the Greater Malé Region, or through the SIMDI Online app between March 31 – April 6 will be eligible to win prizes.

A CPD products bundle including health and personal care products, food and beverages products and household supplies has been promised to the first-place winner of week four. The week’s second-place winner has been promised a Lenovo brand M10 Tablet and a Monin bundle including syrups, sauces, frappes, purees, a recipe book and an Electrolux blender are promised to the third-place winner.

SIMDI Group revealed that their grand lucky draw will include all customers who participated in the promotion and will be held on April 14.

A grand prize of MVR 100,000 in cash has been promised to one lucky winner.

In addition to this, the company has also introduced gift packs for the fasting month of Ramadan.

Customers may gift their loved ones with a special SIMDI ‘Roadha Hadhiya’ gift pack by going to the ‘Roadha Hadhiya’ section of the online app, choosing the package of their choice, entering the delivery address, entering a special message if they wish to and proceeding to make the payment.

The group revealed that they would deliver the packages to the allocated addresses, efficiently.

Customers will be able to choose from two packs; one for MVR 500 and one coming at a price tag of MVR 1,500.
