President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has expressed commitment to fulfill the aspirations of his people, without delay.
He said this while speaking to residents of Feeali island as part of his tour of several islands of Faafu atoll, which he began on Saturday.
Taking the podium at the meeting with Feeali residents, the president expressed commitment to fulfill the wishes of the people in a timely and efficient manner without wasting “even a day” or causing delays.
Sharing his belief that the people mirror his anticipation for fast and dynamic progress, Muizzu expressed commitment to work towards achieving this goal.
The president shed light on the high priority he gives to engage directly with citizens and actively seeking their perspectives to inform decisions on matters directly impacting them.
He also stated that engaging directly with the people would help accelerate the implementation process, adding that several issues highlighted during his ongoing island visits had been immediately addressed through this approach.
Muizzu announced that the island community had raised multiple concerns during his trip, and that he would address these issues in a timely manner.
