The first couple is in Singapore on an unofficial visit.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed departed to Singapore on the unofficial visit, from Velana International Airport (VIA), on Thursday evening.

Further details regarding the first couple’s Singapore visit, have not been disclosed by the President’s Office.

Ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan, Muizzu conducted trips to several islands across outlying atolls and engaged in discussions with the island residents as well as island and atoll councils.

The president earlier conducted an unofficial visit to Singapore on October 30, as the president-elect.
