Sh. Funadhoo football ground subbase project
The subbase preparation component of the football ground subbase project initiated on Funadhoo island of Shaviyani atoll, has begun.
This was revealed by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) on Thursday.
As such, providing the latest updates of the Funadhoo football ground project via social media platform ‘X’, MTCC revealed that they began subbase preparation work under the scope of the project, on 12 February 2024.
Under the scope of the project, MTCC is required to carry out excavation of sand for subbase preparation work, in an area measuring 2,400 cubic meters.
The project also entails subbase preparation and compaction work in an area measuring 15,039 square meters.
The Funadhoo football ground project is valued at MVR 3.49 million.
The company was contracted the project by the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation, on 6 February 2024.
MTCC's CEO Abdulla Ziyad signed the agreement on behalf of MTCC and State Minister for Sports Ibrahim Amir signed on behalf of the ministry.
