A man who was visiting Maldives congested capital Malé City for a doctor’s consultation, has been found dead.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that they received reports from the family not having heard from him in a while, at around 08:50pm on Saturday.
The family is to have reported that the man was visiting the capital city to consult with a doctor and that their attempts to reach him had failed several times.
Following the report, officers went to the house where the man was residing in the capital and found him dead inside his room.
Deceased was a 67-year-old Maldivian man.
Further details of the deceased have not been disclosed yet, however, police officers were active at the scene of the crime on Saturday night.
