The Maldives and the People’s Republic of China has exchanged twenty key agreements, marking a significant step in bilateral relations.
The key agreements were signed as part of the Maldivian First Couple's state visit to China.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed departed to China on 07 January at the invitation of the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The 20 key agreements were exchanged in the presence of President Dr. Muizzu and President Xi Jinping, following official talks between the two countries, on Wednesday, at the Great Hall of People in Beijing.
