Mohamed Afeef Hussain has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The company took to social media platform ‘X’ on Sunday, extending a warm welcome to their new chairman, on behalf of the company’s Board of Directors and the entire team.

MTCC expressed confidence that the company would achieve greater success, under the leadership and vision of the new chairman.

Afeef had previously served in other top government positions as well.

As such, he served as Chairman of State Electric Company (STELCO) as well as FENAKA Corporation.

Afeef also served as Director General at the Housing and Planning Ministry earlier.
