Police launch manhunt for suspect accused of property damage

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has launched a manhunt for an individual, accused of damaging property.
The police institution publicized a CCTV footage on ‘X’, where a man is seen throwing large rocks at someone’s property. As the man seen on the footage is wearing a helmet, his facial features are unclear.
The case surfaced from Gan district of southernmost Addu City.
When contacted by RaajjeMV, an official at Gan Police Station revealed that they have not received a confirmation of the suspect’s arrest, yet.
The public has been urged to contact Gan Police Station through 9792058, if any information regarding the suspect seen in the CCTV footage, is attained.
The case is under further investigation.
