International community has failed to stop the Israeli massacre: Palestinian Ambassador to the Maldives

The Palestinian Ambassador–Designate, to Maldives Walid A.M. Abu Ali has stated that the international community has failed to stop the Israeli attacks on Gaza.

The Ambassador-Designate of Palestine made this statement in an interview to RaajjeTV, on Wednesday.

In his interview, the Ambassador-Designate stated that while the international community has failed to stop Israel from attacking Gaza and that the settlers continues to attack the West Bank of Palestine as well.

He stated that the settlers continue to attack Masjid Al Aqsa, and that since the 7th of October up until now, over 200 Palestinians were shot dead in the West Bank.

Speaking on the situation of Gaza, the Ambassador-Designate of Palestine stated that the situation in Gaza is a disaster, and that the situation has been going on for 40 days.

He noted that the Israel is violating the international law and striking every single square meter in Gaza.

Noting that 2.3 million Palestinians are under Israeli attacks and thousands are getting massacred, he stated that the international community is witnessing the Israeli states crimes in Palestine.

The Palestinian Ambassador went onto say that all efforts that has been made by some countries towards achieving the ceasefire, to stop the Israeli state crimes has failed so far.

The Ambassador-Designate shared that the the biggest hospital in Gaza, the Shifa Hospital, sheltering thousands of injured patients, thousands of Palestinians has been invaded by the Israeli military, and that those stuck in Shifa Hospital is being attacked by the Israeli military.

Stating that Israel has forcefully pushed more than one million Palestinians from the north of Gaza to the south of Gaza, the Palestinian Ambassador stated that the Israeli military continues to attack those who are trying to peacefully shift from the north to the south of Gaza.

He went onto say that the international community is responsible for an immediate ceasefire, to stop the Israeli massacre.

He stated that a a humanitarian corridor is needed, and that the transfer mustn't be stopped by the Israel. He also said that the ceasefire is a must.

The Ambassador stated that the Palestinians deserve to have the hope for a future, to have a political framework to allow them to exercise freedom, to live in peace, similar to any other nation around the globe.

The Ambassador noted that the latest figures show that more than 12,000 Palestinians have died because of the Israeli attacks and that over 30,000 people are injured.

He also noted that mosques, churches, hospitals and schools are being attacked and destroyed by the Israeli military.

The Israel has been continuously attacking Gaza since the 7th of October 2023.
