Special rally held to show solidarity with Palestinians

"Nation with Palestine" march, held on 18-04-2025
A special march has been held under the name "Ummah with Palestine".
The rally was organized to raise voices against the inhumane atrocities being committed by Israel against the helpless people of Palestine and to show the world that Maldivians stand with Palestine. The walk, which began at 8pm on Friday, proceeded from the Social Center to the Artificial Beach.
The event was initiated jointly by a few Maldivian associations and organizations in response to the ongoing oppression of Palestinians. The walk received a tremendous response.
The participants of the march called to declare the United States of America and Israel as terrorist organizations. Participants also highlighted that banning Israeli passports was not done how the people intended it. Moreover, the participants have called to implement a ban on Israeli products.
After the walk, a special lecture was held at the Artificial Beach. Information regarding the holy land of Palestine and the crimes committed by Israel in Palestine, were provided to participants at the lecture.
