A man wanted to be brought in for an investigation regarding alleged attempts to sexually assault a minor has been summoned.
The Maldives Police Service (MPS) revealed that being located is a man accused of attempting to sexually assault a young child.
The case is being investigated by the police station in Landhoo island of Noonu atoll.
However, authorities have failed to issue the summons notice to the suspect as his exact whereabouts remain unknown.
The notice was publicized under Article 27 of the code of procedure to be followed by the police in the investigation of criminal cases.
Being located is a Nooh Mohamed Naeem, 35 and native of Kendhikulhudhoo island of Noonu atoll.
He is being sought for questioning in connection with the ongoing investigation into charges of attempting to molest a child.
The man has been summoned to Landhoo Police Station, at 2pm on November 15.
